Forbes Magazine "Celebrates The Bahamas" on board "The Highlander"
		Paradise Island, The Bahamas - The Bahamas Weekly brings you an exclusive glimpse on board FORBES Magazine's Highlander Yacht from their "Celebrating The Bahamas" event on Saturday, March 15th. The festive occasion began at the Atlantis Marina, and continued on a mini-cruise around the harbour area. Nassau, Bahamas - Christopher Forbes, Vice Chairman of FORBES Magazine, hosted a large, glittering party “to celebrate The Bahamas” on board his family yacht “The Highlander” at Atlantis Marina, Paradise Island on Saturday evening. Among those in attendance were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, The Hon. Brent Symonette; former Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Perry Christie and Mrs. Christie; U.S. Ambassador to the Bahamas His Excellency Ned Siegel and Mrs. Siegel; former Deputy Prime Minister The Hon. Frank Watson; Minister of Health, The Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis and Mrs. Minnis; Minister Maritime Affairs and Labour, The Hon. Dion Foulkes; Sir William Allen, Frances Singer-Hayward and a great cross section of the business community from throughout The Bahamas. The festive evening, which included a mini cruise around the beautiful Paradise Island Harbor, honored FORBES’ long standing relationship with The Bahamas, Mr. Forbes’ continued commitment to the promotion of the Islands and served to underscore his interest in encouraging investors to The Bahamas through FORBES’ Magazine. “The Highlander” last served in a high profile capacity in The Bahamas in 2006 when Mr. Forbes and Ms. Singer-Hayward hosted a gala party in honour of Bernadette Christie. A photo marking the event remains in the Highlander photo gallery in company with Heads of State and celebrities who have visited the yacht throughout the years. Mr. Forbes said that he was “delighted to welcome everyone on board and hopes that the evening represents the continuation of the wonderful relationship that FORBES has enjoyed with The Bahamas over these many decades.”
